Maggie'S Delectable Pecan Pie
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. dark or light corn syrup or 1/2 c. dark and 1/2 c. light
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. light margarine or light butter, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. allspice
- 3 plus tsp. Grand Marnier
- 3 plus tsp. brandy, cognac or Kahlua
- 1 1/2 c. pecans (whole, halves or a combination)
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- Combine first 8 ingredients in a large mixing bowl until well blended and smooth.
- Fold in pecans.
- Pour into pie crust.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for approximately 55 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted halfway between the center and edge comes out clean with nothing stuck to the toothpick.
- Cool for 15 to 20 minutes and then, wow! Serve.
- Excellent with vanilla ice cream.
