Hot Crab Meat Souffle

  1. Put 6 slices of bread, diced, in a long baking dish.
  2. Mix crab meat, mayonnaise, onion, green pepper, celery and cheese and spread over bread.
  3. Trim crusts from remaining 6 slices of bread and place over crab meat mixture.
  4. Mix eggs, milk and vermouth and pour over mixture.
  5. Place in refrigerator overnight.
  6. Take out 2 1/2 hours before serving.
  7. Bake 20 minutes in a 325u0b0 oven.
  8. Remove from oven; spread mushroom soup over top and bake 1 hour.
  9. Serves 10.
