Bean Bonanza Salad
- 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can cut wax beans, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can lima beans, drained
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1/2 c. wine vinegar
- 1/2 medium onion, cut in pieces
- 1/2 tsp. dried tarragon leaves, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. basil leaves, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 small green pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- In a large bowl, combine drained beans.
- In a blender container, place remaining ingredients.
- Blend until onions and green pepper are finely chopped.
- Pour salad oil mixture over beans; toss to coat.
- Chill several hours, stirring occasionally. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
