Company Beef Casserole

  1. Brown ground beef in shortening in heavy skillet.
  2. Add onion, tomatoes, ketchup, steak sauce, green pepper and parsley.
  3. Simmer 30 minutes.
  4. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Combine macaroni and ground beef mixture in a 2-quart baking dish. Season to taste.
  5. Gently spoon mushroom soup into mixture.
  6. Mix lightly, lifting from bottom.
  7. Sprinkle cheese over the top.
  8. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes or until top is bubbly and browned.
  9. Yields 6 servings.
