Creamy Gouda Spread

  1. With an electric mixer or by hand (I like to do it by hand), whip the cream just until it forms stiff peaks.
  2. Using a food processor, drop peeled garlic cloves into the feedrntube while the machine runs. Process until the garlic is chopped.
  3. Cut the cream cheese into chunks and add them to the garlic in the workbowl.
  4. Add the Gouda, horseradish, vinegar, white pepper, and salt.rnProcess until the mixture is completely smooth, scrapping down thernsides of the work bowl as needed.
  5. Using the pulse button, process inrnthe whipped creme just until blended. Cover and chill at least 2rnhours, preferable overnight.
  6. Beforernserving, garnish with black pepper and bring to room temperature.
