La Puerta Taco Dip
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
- garlic salt
- lots of chopped green onions
- lots of Cheddar cheese
- lots of chopped tomatoes, drained on paper towel
- shredded lettuce
- dry taco seasoning
- picante sauce
- black olives, sliced and drained
- 2 or 3 avocados, sliced thin and soaked in lemon juice for 5 to 10 minutes
- bacon, drained and broken in pieces
- Cream first 3 ingredients and 1/2 of taco seasoning.
- Layer on a flat dish in following order:
- cream mixture, green onions, shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, picante sauce, olives, avocados, bacon, lettuce and more cheese.
- Garnish with rest of taco seasoning.
- Serve with Doritos or taco chips and large Fritos.
