Chocolate Snowcaps
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- extra sugar (for rolling)
- 1 large egg
- 48 chocolate Kisses (Hershey's)
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In large bowl, slowly combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, butter, peanut butter, milk, vanilla and egg until stiff dough forms.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls and then roll the balls in the extra sugar.
- Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
- Immediately top each cookie with Hershey's Kiss, pressing down firmly into the edges of the cookie crack.
- Remove from the cookie sheet.
- Makes 48 cookies.
