Caraway Seed Meat Balls
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 4 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 c. fine bread crumbs
- 1 1/3 c. milk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. caraway seed
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. beef bouillon
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. water
- Combine ground beef, onion, eggs, bread crumbs, milk, salt, pepper, allspice, nutmeg, brown sugar and caraway seed.
- Use a teaspoon to form balls.
- Cook the balls in the butter in a frying pan.
- Remove balls.
- Add the bouillon, flour and water to the pan and stir until thick.
- Put the balls back in, cook for 20 minutes and serve immediately.
- Makes a lot, 36 meatballs.
