Candy Bar Cheesecake

  1. Combine crumbs, walnuts, 2 tablespoons sugar and oleo; mix well.
  2. Firmly press mixture into bottom and sides of an 8-inch spring-form pan.
  3. Break candy into several pieces; melt in double boiler or microwave.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Beat cream cheese with electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  6. Combine 3/4 cup sugar, cocoa and salt; gradually add to cream cheese, mixing well.
  7. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  8. Add melted chocolate; beat until blended.
  9. Stir in sour cream and vanilla, blending well.
  10. Pour into prepared pan.
  11. Bake at 325u0b0 for 40 minutes.
  12. Turn off oven; let cheesecake stand in closed oven 30 minutes.
  13. Let cool at room temperature, then chill.
  14. Remove sides of spring-form pan; spread Sour Cream Topping and sprinkle with walnuts.
  15. Yield:
  16. 1 (8-inch) cheesecake.
