Favorite Meat Loaf
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 pkg. Lipton onion mushroom soup mix
- dash of salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. herb stuffing mix
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. lean ground meat
- In a small bowl, combine tomato sauce, brown sugar and mustard; set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine eggs, Lipton soup mix, herb stuffing mix, bell pepper, ground meat, salt and pepper. Add half of tomato sauce mixture and stir thoroughly.
- Place meat mixture in ring mold or 2-quart microwave-proof round casserole dish.
- Pour remaining tomato sauce over top of meat.
- Cook, uncovered, on High for 12 to 14 minutes.
- Let stand, covered, for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
