Cowboy Cocktail

  1. The size of the serving containers determines the amount of ingredients. For a main dish I use beer mugs. For an app, small glasses or bowls.
  2. Warm leftover chopped brisket, pulled pork, or grilled chicken. In another pan, warm beans.
  3. Fill the serving vessel one third full of warmed beans. The next layer should be another third filled with your meat. Top with BBQ sauce to taste.
  4. Cover with coleslaw. I like to place another dab of BBQ sauce on top of the slaw because it looks pretty and makes my wife happy. Serve while meat and beans are still warm.
  5. Any optional ingredients can be added at any layer you choose. Make it your own.
  6. I like to have slices of bread on the side. Garlic bread works well for us.

pulled pork, beans, cole slaw, your favorite, bacon, green onion, jalepeno
