Flying Saucers

  1. Beat butter; gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer.
  2. Add egg, molasses and milk; mix well. Combine flour and next 4 ingredients; add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
  3. Stir in oats and raisins.
  4. Shape dough into 2-inch balls.
  5. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets and flatten each ball with palm of hand.
  6. Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
  7. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheeets; remove to wire racks and cool completely. Yield:
  8. 3 1/2 dozen.
