Cranberry Nut Gelatin Salad
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. cold water (use part pineapple juice)
- 1/2 c. ginger ale
- 1 can jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 container crushed cranberry sauce (try the one for chicken)
- 1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 c. applesauce
- 3/4 c. coarsely chopped walnut meats
- Dissolve strawberry and lemon gelatins in boiling water.
- Add cold water, pineapple juice and ginger ale.
- Refrigerate until partially set.
- Stir in cranberry sauces, crushed pineapple, applesauce and walnut meats.
- Pour into a 7 1/2 x 11-inch pan or 10-cup gelatin mold.
- Allow to set until firm.
