Sunflower Cheese Ball
- 1 1/2 cups lightly salted roasted sunflower kernels (divide into 1 cup and 1/2 cup)
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese (softened)
- 3 oz. bleu cheese crumbled
- 1/4 cup chopped celery (fine)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion (fine)
- 2 Tbsp. sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. instant chicken bouillon
- 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
- 1 bag Nacho Cheese chips (triangular cut shapes like Doritos brand)
- Mix 1 cup sunflower kernels and next 7 ingredients.
- Shape into a ball.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
- Unwrap and roll top side in remaining sunflower kernels.
- Place on a large plate.
- Using the chips, about 1 inch from the bottom of the cheese ball stick on flat edge of each chop into cheese ball so the point is sticking out.
- Continue around the cheese ball until it resembles a sunflower.
- Serve immediately.
