Elegant Tuna Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 425u0b0.
  2. Cook noodles al dente and drain.
  3. In a 2-quart casserole, combine noodles, thyme and salt; set aside. Heat soup and milk in a saucepan, stirring until smooth.
  4. Add tuna, celery, green pepper, chestnuts, scallions, mayonnaise and all but 2 tablespoons of the cheese.
  5. Heat, stirring, until the cheese is melted.
  6. Pour over noodles and mix.
  7. Sprinkle remaining cheese and almonds over top.
  8. Bake about 25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly browned.
