Parmesan Biscuits With “Cheese-Cream” Spread

- 1/2 cup cold butter
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup spelt flour
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 pinch coarse salt
- 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- Tomato and herbs Cheese-Cream
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon Paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon Tomato puree
- 1/3 cup Parmesan
- Dried thyme
- Dried parsley
- Salt and pepper
- For the biscuits: Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead the dough.rnPreheat oven on 350FrnRoll out the dough and cut out thin rectangular biscuits/crackersrnBake for 15 minutes.
- For the cream cheese, simply combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Make the biscuits: Take one biscuit, spread some "cheese-cream" on one side. Put another biscuit on top, just like a sandwich.
