Aloo Tikki Sandwich
- 2 cups peeled, mashed, boiled potato
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 4 tablespoons bread crumbs
- 2 teaspoons chaat masala
- 4 tablespoons corn flour
- salt to taste
- For Sandwich:rnBread slicesrnGreen chutneyrnTomato KetchuprnSliced onion, tomato, lettuce leaves
- Method:rnTo make Aloo Tikki recipe, take a glass bowl and add potatoes, chaat masala, chilli powder, corn flour, salt in in. Mix well all the ingredients. rnOnce done, divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a round tikki.rnNow, coat the prepared tikkis with breadcrumbs on all sides. rnMeanwhile, heat oil in a pan over medium flame and shallow fry the tikkis, till both sides are golden brown in colour.rnOnce done, transfer the Aloo Tikkis on a kitchen towel so that excess oil is absorbed. rnSpread green chutney on the bread slices. rnArrange the onion, tomato and lettuce leaves on the bread slice.rnPlace the tikki over the layer of vegetables. rnDrizzle tomato ketchup. Cover the sandwich with another slice of bread. rnServe Aloo Tikki Sandwich grilled or just like that with chips.
