Moro De Frijoles(Rice And Beans Cooked Together)

  1. Clean and wash rice.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Mix bacon, tomatoes and stir-fry in 1 tablespoon of oil.
  4. Add onions, garlic, coriander, pepper, oregano, vinegar, salt and tomato paste.
  5. Stir-fry and add a bit of water, if necessary.
  6. Add beans and stir 3 minutes. Add rice and keep stirring for an other few minutes.
  7. Add hot water and let cook.
  8. When rice is tender, add the remaining oil and cook gently for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve with chicken or beef stew, Dominican style and avocado and tomato salad.
  10. Serves 6.
