Chinese Chicken Salad
- 3 c. chopped, cooked chicken
- 1 medium head cabbage
- 1 bunch green onions (tops only)
- 2 pkg. Ramen chicken flavored noodles
- 8 Tbsp. sesame seed
- 1 (2 1/4 oz.) packet sliced almonds
- 3 Tbsp. oleo
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 c. salad oil or less or olive oil
- 1 tsp. Accent
- Combine chopped chicken, cabbage (chopped) and green onion tops in large bowl; set aside.
- Reserve the seasoning packs from noodle packs.
- Place noodles in large bowl and crush coarsely.
- Stir seed and almonds in with noodles.
- Melt oleo in skillet.
- Add noodle mixture and cook, stirring until toasted.
- In another bowl, combine the flavor packs from noodles with sugar, oil, Accent, salt, pepper and vinegar.
- Mix well.
- Toss all mixtures together 20 to 30 minutes before serving.
