Oyster Stew

  1. Reserve 1/2 cup oyster liquid.teason oysters with salts and peppers; frizzle in their own juice until slightly curled.tet aside.
  2. Melt butter in saucepan.
  3. Add flour; blend.
  4. Add onions; stir until onions are cooked.
  5. Add oyster liquid.
  6. Add milk 1 cup at a time, stirring constantly.
  7. Cook about 10 minutes.
  8. Add oysters.
  9. Check for additional seasoning.
  10. Sprinkle onion on top just before serving.
  11. Serves 6-8.
