Norwegian Christmas Cake

  1. Grease bottom of a 10-inch spring-form pan.
  2. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  3. In a large bowl, with a mixer at high speed, beat eggs and 1 cup sugar until light and foamy, about 7 minutes.
  4. Stir in 1 tablespoon water.
  5. Add flour, cornstarch and baking powder, stirring utnil blended.
  6. Pour batter into a pan and bake 35 to 45 minutes until done.
  7. Cool cake on wire rack for 5 minutes and remove cake from pan.
