Banana-Spice Cookies

  1. Beat the margarine or butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 minutes.
  2. Add about half of the flour, the sugar, eggs, baking powder, vanilla, cinnamon, baking soda and cloves; beat until thoroughly combined.
  3. Beat in remaining flour. Beat in bananas; stir in nuts.
  4. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake in a 375u0b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  6. Cool cookies on rack and frost with butter frosting (optional).
  7. Makes 60 cookies.
