Fall Sausage Stew

  1. Heat olive oil.
  2. Saute onion, zucchini, cabbage, red bell pepper and tomatoes in olive oil.
  3. Add bay leaves, kidney beans, dill, caraway seed, Polish sausage and tomato sauce.
  4. Add water (about 1 cup).
  5. Reduce heat to simmer after stew comes to a boil. Cook on very low heat for 1/2 hour or 45 minutes.
