Salted Bourbon Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Set oven to 360 degrees
  2. Beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar for 3 to 5 minutes, or until fluffy
  3. Add eggs, vanilla, and Bourbon and beat for 2 minutes
  4. Combine baking soda, baking powder, salt, and flour in a large mixing bowl and whisk to combine
  5. Slowly add the dry mixture 1/4 cup at a time, making sure each addition is fully incorporated before adding the next
  6. Add chocolate chips and mix until the chips are well incorporated
  7. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and drop 2 tbsp. scoops of cookie dough on the sheet
  8. Lightly sprinkle each scoop with a pinch of coarse sea salt
  9. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges begin to brown
  10. Remove from oven and allow the cookies to sit on the baking sheet for two minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool
