Microwave Hearty Beef 'N Potato Casserole
- 4 c. frozen hash browns
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
- 1 can Durkee French fried onions
- 1 medium tomato, chopped (optional)
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 c. shredded cheese
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- Place potatoes on bottom and up sides of 9 x 13-inch casserole.
- Bake, uncovered, at 400u0b0 for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, crumble beef in large bowl.
- Cook on High 4 to 5 minutes; stir halfway through cooking time.
- Drain well.
- Stir in broccoli, 1/2 can Durkee onions, soup, milk, 1/2 cup cheese and spices.
- Cook, uncovered, on High 6 minutes; stir halfway through.
- Add tomatoes; spoon into potato lined casserole.
- Cook, uncovered, on High 8 minutes; top with remaining cheese and onions.
- Cook on High 1 minute.
