Blueberry Burger
- Patties
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup Bow Hill Organic Heirloom Dried Blueberries
- 1 tablespoon honey balsamic redux
- Garnish
- 1 jar Bow Hill Organic Heirloom Pickled Blueberries
- 1 red onion, sliced thinly
- Blue cheese
- Arugula
- Mix beef, pork, salt, dried blueberries and redux together. Shape into patties. Place on heated grill or stovetop.
- When cooking, ensure that the patty temperature moves beyond 150 F. If only using beef, 2 pounds of beef can be used and cooked rare.
- Once the patties are almost done (if you'd like) place some blue cheese on top of the patties and cook until melted.
- Set on bottom bun. Then place pickled blueberries, soaked red onions, blue cheese (if you didn't melt onto patties), and arugula atop the patty and set the top bun on.
- Optional: serve with fried potatoes.
