Hot Cheese Squares
- 1 1/2 loaves sandwich bread (at least 2 to 3 days old)
- 2 jars Old English cheese spread
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 generous dash Tabasco sauce
- 2 sticks margarine
- Soften cheese and margarine to room temperature.
- Add remaining ingredients and beat in electric mixer until light and fluffy; will resemble whipped cream.
- Stack 3 slices of bread, removing crust.
- Spread cheese mixture between slices and cut into fourths.
- Three slices of bread will make four small squares. Frost squares with cheese, leaving bottoms uniced.
- Freeze on a cookie sheet and then remove to storage container.
- Bake frozen on a cookie sheet at 350u0b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Serve immediately.
- If you do not wish to freeze, chill in refrigerator overnight before baking.
