Thumbprint Cookies: An Adventure In Cooking From Fäviken

  1. Mix the flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  2. Blend in the butter with your fingers, essentially kneading the dough into a meal. Take your time with this step.
  3. Lightly beat the eggs, add them to the dough, and work until just smooth.
  4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on parchment paper on a baking sheet. (The parchment paper is only needed in case the jam overflows.)
