Cantuccini With Chocolate Chunks
- 250 grams flour + some extra to knead
- 100 grams caster sugar
- 75 grams brown sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 25 grams butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons amaretto
- 150 grams almonds
- 1 packet chocolate chunks
- Heat your oven to 180u0b0C and line a baking sheet with baking paper. Add all dry ingredients together in a large bowl and add the eggs, butter and amaretto. Form a smooth dough and lastly add the almonds and chocolate chunks. Divide the dough into two and make two long rolls. Set onto the baking sheet and bake for 20- 25 minutes - the cantuccini should be slightly brown. Cool down for a few minutes and reduce the oven temperature to 110u0b0C. Cut the cantuccini into small pieces and bake again for 10 minutes.
