Baked Fudge Pudding
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 3/4 c. very hot water
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Mix the flour, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of cocoa, baking powder and salt in ungreased baking pan (9 x 9-inch).
- Mix milk, oil and vanilla with fork until smooth.
- Stir in nuts.
- Spread mixture evenly in pan.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 cup of cocoa.
- Pour hot water over batter.
- Bake 40 minutes.
- Let stand 15 minutes.
- Top is crusty and pudding on bottom is thickened.
