Denise'S Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 onion, chopped
- Worcestershire sauce
- onion powder to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- 1 small can mushrooms, drained
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 clove chopped garlic
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1/2 envelope spaghetti seasoning mix
- 2 Tbsp. cooking wine
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 to 3 bay leaves
- 1 Tbsp. sweet basil
- 1 Tbsp. ground mustard
- 1/4 Tbsp. onion powder
- Brown the first 5 ingredients; drain off fat.
- Add remaining ingredients, adding a couple of tomato paste cans of water.
- Let simmer for 30 minutes on low heat.
- Remove bay leaves and serve with spaghetti.
- Add shredded cheese to sauce, if desired.
