Pennsylvania Dutch Chow Chow(Makes 8 To 10 Quarts)

  1. Chop all vegetables to desired size and cook each separately or use canned vegetables where you can.
  2. Drain vegetables and mix together.
  3. Combine vinegar, sugar and water.
  4. Bring to boil.
  5. Add turmeric and salt.
  6. Add all the vegetables to hot liquid and bring to a boil.
  7. Pack in hot jars.
