Dried Figs And Pepper Appetizer

  1. Place first seven ingredients in a bowl. Stir so all the lemon juice and zest have coated the ingredients
  2. Scrape the ginger piece on a fine microplane zester over the bowl of ingredients. The result will look like a puree. Add to bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Is best to let sit at room temperature for at least an hour before placing on endive.
  3. Cut the ends off the endive and separate the leaves.rnPlace a generous tablespoon or two on each endive spear. Arrange on a platter.
