Microwave Apple Crisp
- 4 c. sliced and peeled apples
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. oats
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
- Place apples in a 1-quart casserole dish and sprinkle lemon juice over the apples.
- Microwave apples and lemon juice on High until apples are tender and crisp, about 2 1/2 to 4 minutes.
- Set apples aside.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl and microwave on High until bubbly, about 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes. Stir after half of cooking time.
- Spread the ingredients over the apples and place back in the microwave.
- Cook on High until apples are tender and the ingredients on top of apples are bubbly, about 4 to 6 minutes.
- Makes 6 servings.
