Angel Hair Pasta With Crabmeat Sauce
- 8 oz. cooked angel hair pasta
- 3 Tbsp. chopped green onions
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- paprika
- 2/3 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. half and half
- dash of red pepper
- 1 lb. imitation or real crabmeat, already cooked
- Saute mushrooms and onions in butter until tender.
- Add flour, stirring until smooth.
- Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add half and half.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly.
- Stir in pimiento, salt, mustard, red pepper and crabmeat.
- Cook over low heat until thoroughly heated.
- Serve over pasta; sprinkle with paprika.
