Crunchy Beef Bake Casserole
- 1 1/2 c. Mueller's macaroni, uncooked
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes, cut up
- 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper (bell)
- 3/4 tsp. seasoning salt or to your taste
- 1 (3 oz.) can Durkee/O&C Real French fried onions (more if desired)
- Prepare macaroni as directed on package and drain.
- Brown ground beef and drain.
- Combine all ingredients, except onions. Pour half the mixture into a 2-quart casserole, sprayed with Pam or greased lightly with margarine.
- Add 1/2 can onions.
- Pour remaining mixture over onions; cover.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Top with remaining onions and bake, uncovered, 5 minutes longer or until golden brown.
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
