Spiced Applesauce-Raisin Bread
- 3/4 c. Fiber One cereal
- 1 3/4 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. applesauce
- 1/2 c. skim milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 egg or 2 egg whites *
- 1/2 c. raisins
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease bottom only of loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inches.
- Crush cereal.
- Mix all ingredients except raisins in large bowl; beat 30 seconds.
- Stir in raisins.
- Pour into pan. Bake 55 to 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.
- Cool completely before slicing.
