Microwave Stir-Fry
- 1 lb. boneless sirloin, cut 1/2-inch thick
- 1 c. (1/4 lb.) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 c. snow-pea pods
- 1/3 c. celery, sliced
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 1 small red pepper, cut in strips
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 jar (12 oz.) Heinz homestyle gravy
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- Cut
- steak
- across
- grain.
- Set aside.tlace mushrooms and next 4 ingredients in 2 quart casserole.
- Cover dish with wax paper.
- Microwave
- on
- High 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes.
- Stir once. Drain
- well.
- Stir in meat.
- Cover.
- Microwave 3 1/2 to 4
- 1/2 minutes.
- Stir twice.
- Meat will be pink.
- Blend cornstarch
- into soy sauce.tombine with gravy and ginger.ttir in
- meat mixture.
- Cover;
- microwave on High, 4 to 6 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.
