Chocolate Nut Cookies

• 16 oz. plain M & M's
• 2 1/2 c. flour
• 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 c. butter, softened
• 3/4 c. granulated sugar
• 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 c. chopped pecans

1. Preheat

5. Grease

8. Chop 1 1/2 cups of M & M's.
9. Reserve
10. remaining
11. whole
12. M & M's for decoration.
13. Stir together flour,
14. baking soda and salt.
15. In a large bowl cream butter

18. Addtggs
19. and vanilla; beat until light and
20. fluffy.
21. Addtry ingredients gradually. Add chopped M & M's and
22. nuts.trop

24. baking sheets.
25. Bake for 6 to 7 minutes.
26. Decorate cookies with M & M's.
27. Return to oven and bake for 3 to
28. 5 minutes longer or until light brown. Makes 5 dozen.
