Spicy Cabbage Rolls
- 1 head green cabbage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 3 Tbsp. chopped celery
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 c. cooked rice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 (10 oz.) can undrained tomatoes with green chiles
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
- Remove 10 large outer leaves of cabbage; cook in boiling salted water 5 to 8 minutes or until just tender; drain and set aside.
- Reserve remaining cabbage for other uses.
- Combine next 8 ingredients.
- Place equal portions of meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf.
- Fold 2 opposite ends over and place rolls, seam side down, in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over cabbage rolls.
- Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
- Makes 10 servings.
