Tacos With Lamb Kebab Skewers
- 6 6 small (chickpea) soft tortillas or hardshell tacos
- 200 grams minced lamb
- 1/2 onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 1 salt and pepper to taste
- 1 spring onion for decorating purposed
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1/2 tablespoons lemon
- 2 tablespoons roasted spicy tomato salsa (can be substitute with hot sauce)
- 4 tablespoons hot water
- Put the minced meat in a bowl
- Add the onion and garlic
- Then add the chili powder and cumin powder
- Knead the ingredients thoroughly
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Divide the mixture into 6 equal parts
- Shape them into flat sausages and put on a skewer
- Heat a skill or grill pan (or barbecue) and brush with olive oil. Grill the skewers in about 10 minutes
- Make the sauce with 2 tbsp of tahini, 1 tbsp of lemon, 2 tbsp of roasted spicy tomato salsa. Stir to combine and add some hot water to make it more liquid
- Plate the taco by adding a lamb kebab skewer on a taco then add some tahini salsa sauce and some additional salsa. Decorate with spring onion. Serve with some basmati rice
