Broccoli-Ham Ring
- 1/4 lb. ham
- 1/4 lb. fresh broccoli
- 1 small onion
- 6 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 (8 oz. each) cans refrigerator crescent rolls
- 1 qt. Hellmann's
- 1/2 (3 oz.) jar dried onions
- 1/4 (10 oz.) jar Durkee salad dressing (this is found in the mayonnaise/mustard section at the grocer's)
- 1/4 (2 or 3 oz.) bottle Lawry's seasoned salt or to taste
- 4 loaves bread (2 white/2 wheat)
- season with additional salt and pepper to taste
- 10 to 12 large tomatoes
- Stir and taste and add more Durkee if you like.
- Let sit in refrigerator overnight or more.
- (Will last about 3 to 4 weeks refrigerated).
- Peel and slice thin the tomatoes (no more than 1/8-inch).
- Place on dry paper towels overnight.
- This prevents soggy sandwiches.
- Trim bread edges off of 4 loaves of bread (2 white/2 wheat) or use small cocktail sandwich bread.
- Spread thinly with sauce.
