Best Of Bran Muffins

  1. Combine cereal, oil and raisins in a large bowl.
  2. Add boiling water.
  3. Set aside to cool.
  4. Slightly combine eggs, buttermilk and molasses in a small bowl.
  5. Add to cooled mixture.
  6. Combine flour, sugar, baking soda and salt; add to cereal mixture.
  7. Stir just to moisten.
  8. Cover batter with plastic wrap, wax paper or damp towel and let stand up to 1 hour.
  9. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 400u0b0 in baking tins 3/4 full.
  10. Makes 2 dozen.
