Beef Casserole(Makes 4 Servings)
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen French-style green beans
- 1 lb. stew beef, cut in cubes
- 1/2 tsp. meat tenderizer
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup (undiluted)
- 2 c. cooked egg noodles
- salt and pepper
- Place green beans in a 1-quart casserole, icy side up.
- Cook, covered, on High for 5 minutes.
- Reserve.
- Combine beef cubes and meat tenderizer in a 2 to 3-quart casserole.
- Toss lightly.
- Add onion.
- Cook, covered, on High for 15 to 20 minutes or until meat is tender.
- Add tomato soup, 1/2 cup water, noodles and green beans to beef cubes.
- Stir lightly and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook, covered, on High for 5 minutes.
- Stir and let stand, covered, 3 to 4 minutes before serving.
