Pepper Steak

  1. In hot oil, saute garlic, salt, ginger and pepper until garlic is golden.
  2. Add meat and brown for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove meat from pan.
  4. Add green peppers and onions; cook 3 minutes.
  5. Mix water with cornstarch and add to mixture.
  6. Return meat to the pan and add all remaining ingredients.
  7. Simmer until thick.
  8. Serve over hot rice.
  9. Serves 6.
