Plucketts Or Pull-Aparts
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1/3 c. butter, melted
- 3 eggs, beaten well
- flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- melted butter
- 1 c. sugar (brown)
- 1 c. ground nuts
- cinnamon
- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
- Combine the sugar, butter and salt to the scalded milk; when lukewarm, add the dissolved yeast, eggs and just enough flour to make stiff batter.
- Cover and let rise until doubled, punch down and let rise again.
- Shape into balls the size of walnuts.
- Dip each ball in melted butter, then in a mixture of brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon.
- Put in tube pan and let rise.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 10 minutes; lower heat to 350u0b0 and bake 30 minutes.
- Remove from pan immediately and serve warm.
