Beef Turnovers
- 1 c. crushed onion crackers
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. cooked spinach, well drained
- 1 (3 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, drained
- 1/4 c. bottled spaghetti sauce
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. dry basil
- 1/4 tsp. dry thyme, crushed
- 1 well beaten egg
- Combine crackers, flour and Parmesan.
- Cut in butter or margarine.tprinkle cold water
- over
- mixture, one tablespoon at a time, mixing with fork.
- Form into a ball.
- Wrap in clear plastic.
- Chill for 30 minutes.
- Brown
- ground
- beef;
- drain. Stir in spinach, mushrooms, spaghetti
- sauce,
- salt, basil and thyme; set aside.
- On floured
- surface,
- roll
- dough
- 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut out 24 (4-inch) circles.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of filling on half of each
- circle.
- Brush
- edges
- with beaten egg. Fold dough over filling totorm

- baking sheet.
- Brush with more egg. Bake at 400u0b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Serve at once.
