Apple Harvest Cookies

  1. Sift together the dry ingredients; add shortening, sugar, egg and water.
  2. Beat until thoroughly mixed; stir in raw apples, oats and raisins.
  3. Mixture will be stiff.
  4. Make balls of dough, size of a large walnut and roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons of cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
  5. Bake at 375u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. To make drop cookies, add an extra egg.
