Sugarless Apple Pie

  1. In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter or margarine.
  2. Stir in cornstarch and cook until bubbly.
  3. Stir in undiluted apple juice concentrate and raisins.
  4. Heat to a boil and cook until thickened. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  5. Peel apples, cut in half and remove cores.
  6. Cut apples into thin wedges.
  7. In a cup, mix flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  8. In a large bowl, toss apples with thickened cornstarch mixture, stir apples into raisin mixture until coated with sauce.
  9. Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
  10. Fill crust with apple slices, spreading evenly.
  11. Put on top crust.
  12. Bake 45 minutes.
  13. Cover pie loosely with foil and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until filling is bubbly and crust is golden.
  14. Cool pie on rack.
