Clayton Knight'S Peoples Choice Chili
- 3 lb. (1/2-inch cubes) blade steak
- 1/2 large bell pepper
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 8 oz. tomato juice
- 8 oz. chopped tomatoes
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. ground cumin
- 1 (8 oz.) can red kidney beans
- 3 drops Tabasco sauce
- Brown blade
- steak.
- Trim off fat and skin.
- Unseasoned tenderizer may
- betdded
- before
- preparation.
- Blend or chop bell pepper, onion and garlic; set mixture aside.
- Pour tomato juice in Dutch oven
- and
- chopped
- tomatoes.
- Now
- add browned meat and at this
- point
- put Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add chili powder and
- ground
- cumin.
- Now
- addthe mixture of bell pepper, onion
- andtarlictloves.
- Add red kidney beans and Tabasco sauce.
- Asthili
- cooks, add more tomato juice or crushed tomatoes to make consistency of chili just the way you like it.
